Blogify registers custom artisan commands which will be used through the installation and configuration process. In this part we explain what each command does and when you should use it.
The create-dirs command is automatically fired by composer when the installation of Blogify is completed or when you run composer update. This command creates the directories in your public folder where all uploaded images will be placed.
The directories that are created are configured in the config file. When you change any of these settings make sure you run this command so your directories are up to date.
The migrate command is a short cut for you, the end user so that you don't have to type or copy paste the full path to the migrations directory in your vendor folder.
The seed command is a short cut for you, the end user so that you don't have to type or copy paste the full class to the Blogify database seeder.
Note: The original app.css file included with Laravel is used for the view styling (bootstrap)
When you don't have the time to create your own public part, then this command is what you need. It generates the public part for you. This means it will create views, controllers, requests and all that stuff for you. Just enter the command, copy and paste the generate routes and your good to go.--only-backend
Using this option will only generate the backend part, your controllers, requests and all that stuff. You will need to create your own views now.--namespace
When you have changed your app namespace you can add that namespace through this option.
php artisan blogify:generate --namespace="Foo"
